Top 7 Strength Training Classes in Clapham, London

Beginner Pole (Tricks and Technique)

There are still spaces available on our website. Are you ready to give Pole Fitness a go? This class is suitable for absolute beginners and those who have taken classes a few times before. Pole Fitness is an entire body workout with a particular focus on muscular and core strength! Not only will you tone up & gain strength, but you will improve you.

FORGE

FORGE, FORGE is our pure strength training class. FORGE is a circuit based class without all the cardiovascular exercises of our other small group classes we offer. You will get a sweat up while using all our strength implements like kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells, pull up bars, hex bars, TRX suspension trainer and of course your body weight. You will build real strength and power as well as wor Cracking class, v well taught with clear demos and revision throughout. A strength training class (adapted for individual ability) so the pace is slower but you'll still work up a sweat.

Strength + Mobility

This class will help you build your strength, improve your technique and increase your mobility, all in a safe small-group setting (maximum 10 students). We will use a mix of kettlebells, Olympic barbells, and body weight in a circuit-style workout. We'll wind down slowly, finishing with a savasana to calm the mind and body. We've designed the ideal combination of strength training and mobility for Super welcoming and a lovely family feels to the class. Rex led a very technical strength section based on primal movement, then Katie led a yoga stretch finish. I really enjoyed it as I enjoyed the focus on form and correction. You'd definitely build strength over time, but if you're fairly fit and wanted a sweaty workout, this isn't that as the HIIT section was pretty short. Rex says the sessions will build over time, so that will be interesting to see!

HIIT 40

HIIT: The High-Intensity Interval Training combines functional movement, cardio and strength training. This circuit class uses a variety of equipment and exercises to give a total body workout. Classes are 40 minutes in length and suitable for all levels. Equipment varies by class but includes Ski Ergs, kettlebells, dumbbells, plyo boxes, skip rope, etc. The instructor must be made aware of Good work out and liked the variety in the circuit. 40 mins went so quickly

Silent Disco Boot Camp

The Silent Disco Boot Camp is a revolutionary session, where you get to workout to your favorite tunes on Clapham Common. They are the first boot camp in the UK to do this, and it's Swift's most popular class with a cult-like following! The kit you out with our first-class headphones, which automatically tunes into the trainer's mic (think Britney), and playlist. They then carry out a boot camp This class was really good. A good varied workout that was fun. If you're doing in winter like me (frost on the ground) make sure you bring gloves. I found push-ups etc. Very hard with my hands and fingers do cold. Expect to get a bit muddy too

Booty Barre  Fiber

Yoga+Pilates+Dance To sculpt and shape your body. A blend of cardio and core work to burin your body. Location: Fiber Gym - Croosh Alley 25 Northcote Road London SW11 1NJ Brilliant!!! I’ve Not done this class in years. And I’ve hooked once again. I will definitely be attending this class weekly from now on. Eliza is lovely. Very professional, explains and demonstrates all the moves and levels at which you feel comfy. Fyber has a relaxed feel to it, easy to find and pay and display on-road parking if needed. Only a 10 min walk from Clapham junction. I will be looking out for more of Eliza’s classes to join

Boxing

They will warm you up to get you ready and raring to go and during each session, you'll spend lots of time doing pad work as well as body weight, cardio, and abs exercises- things like press-ups, squats, lunges, sit-ups, sprints, and team fun! You'll always end the session with lots of cool-down stretches. Great class this week focusing on knees and kicks!
