Best Training Clapham Common

One of the most exhilarating ways to get fit is on Clapham Common – believe us. And with the introduction of exercise machines and equipment on Northside and Westside (see photo from Friends of Clapham Common) there is really no excuse!

Here are a few of the clubs that will help you to reach your fitness potential outdoors if you need some extra motivation (please check the individual websites for the latest details as times/locations can change)

Clapham Common Fitness (PT)
Clapham Common
Plenty of sessions times to choose from (6.30am anyone?) every day. Meeting point is in the car park of the Windmill pub, halfway down Clapham Common southside. BMF classes are a challenge – they admit that!  There’s also a separate running club. See the website for full details and times.

Running club ‘made up of sociable people who love running’. They meet on Tuesday evenings at 7.15pm at Wingate Square SW4 0AF and head to Clapham Common for a warm-up and then a choice of a shorter run for beginners, a longer route or a coaching session. Post-run, it’s off to the pub to get to know your fellow Pioneers.
